Dr. Harrison has been in the private practice of optometry in Colorado Springs for over 35 years. He received his doctor of optometry degree, magna cum laude, from the Illinois College of Optometry in 1979. He has been an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Colorado Optometric Association for over 40 years. Dr. Harrison served on the Colorado State Board of Examiners in Optometry for 6 years and was president in 1996-97. He has participated in several eye missions to Mexico with the “Volunteers in the Service of Humanity” (VOSH), performing eye exams and dispensing glasses to those in visual need.
Dr. Harrison recently merged his Associates in Vision Care practice with Archdale Eyecare and is now working at the north office at Lexington drive. He continues to provide eye care in a family practice setting with a specialty interest in contact lenses as well as the treatment of eye disease, glaucoma, and lasik and cataract co-management.
